Dave Driscoll
Dave Driscoll is an experienced live music promoter and event manager, with over ten years experience of promoting shows in the UK. Through his first promotions company Sonnet Events, Dave promoted artists all over Wales including Snow Patrol, GLC, Funeral For A Friend, The Wildhearts, Therapy, The Buzzcocks, The Damned, Whitesnake, Biffy Clyro and many more as well as up and coming young British artists and bands. Also, Dave co-produced the Successful Compass Point Festivals in Coopers Field.
After joining TV and Event's company The Pop Factory, Dave produced events such as Tom Jones in Pontypridd, The Pop Factory Awards, Saint David's Welsh Festival at Disneyland Paris, The Full Ponty Festivals at Pontypridd Ynysangharad Park, Donny Osmond at Cyfarthfa Castle, Katherine Jenkins at Margam Park and The Burberry Workers Concert.
As well as the events side of things, Dave took up an integral role in the production of Wales' only music TV show, the ITV commissioned ‘The Guestlist', as well as The Xfm New Music Awards for MTV.
Leaving The Pop Factory in 2008, Dave joined P4 Music, working on shows with the likes of Duffy, The Automatic, The Alarm, The View, and Glasvegas, Franz Ferdinand. Super Furry Animals, The Feeling, Scouting for Girls, Brecon Jazz Festival which included Amy Winehouse and KT Tunstall, The Millennium Stadium Tsunami Relief Concert, and The Grand Slam Celebration with The Stereophonics. Whilst at Push4, Dave has also promoted and produced a number of events for Red Dragon FM including their Help a South Wales Child Awards, Pontys Big Weekend's - which featured Rhydian Roberts from X Factor in 2008, Only Men Aloud and Sugababes in 2009 and 2010 features JLS. Dave is also currently working on the Heart and Soul Campaign throughout the South Wales Valleys which included the recent homecoming of Lostprohets to their old School in Hawthorn Pontypridd..
