International Advertising Association (IAA)

The International Advertising Association (IAA) UK Chapter is one of the largest and most successful chapters of the world-wide Business Association with international headquarters in New York.

Since 2003, we have worked closely with the IAA UK team to create their flagship event of the summer calender - The Summer Ball.  This annual Summer Ball is an opportunity for all IAA members to mingle, network and let their hair down with us on hand to make sure it is an evening to remember.

"Thanks to you and the team for a great evening.  Everyone had a thoroughly good time and our new President was extremely impressed.  Well done"  Angus Grieve, Executive Director, IAA UK Chapter

We have worked closely with The Millennium Stadium since 2004.  Just after Christmas in 2004, Paul Sergeant, Chief Executive of the stadium, asked us to work in partnership with them to produce a benefit concert in aid of the Far East Tsunami victims. The result was 'Tsunami Relief', the largest and fastest organised concert ever held in the UK post Live Aid.

In three weeks, we put together an artist line-up and produced a world-beating benefit concert featuring Eric Clapton, Keane, Snow Patrol, The Manic Street Preachers, Feeder, Katherine Jenkins, Lemar and Jools Holland amongst many others.

BioWales and Innovation Into Action

We were appointed as event managers in the delivery of 2 exciting project within the Wales Innovation Week, funded by WAG.  The project involved Twin exhibition, conference, seminar and brokerage events held over two days.  The purpose of the events was to encourage and facilitate technology transfer within Welsh businesses and academia.

Innovation Into Action, the first and only event to present innovation in Wales to world-class companies and investment partners, showcased inventors and Welsh technical innovators seeking backing and attracted approximately 350 visitors. Biowales, which is the only event of its kind in Wales focusing on bioscience opportunities, involved a conference for 400 delegates and featured a world class line-up of speakers

For the delivery of this project, we liaised with the venues, designed and created an event website with online registration facilities, co-ordinated over 50 exhibitors and facilitated their stand, furniture and presentation requirements.  Over 1200 potential delegates were invited, reminded, attendance confirmed and pre event information issued via email.

Delegate management also involved the design and production of 2 exhibitor brochures, collation of delegate lists and agendas, production and collation of 800 delegate bags and 975 delegate and speaker badges with lanyards. A fully staffed registration desk was provided with bilingual staff and the ability to produce delegate badges for additional visitors.  We designed all event branding with multiple roller banner and pop up displays.

PR was handled by ourselves, both pre and post event, ensuring maximum coverage in local and national industry publications, event photography, and TV film crew (BBC's Dragons Den) liaison.

We also coordinated the audio visual aspects and liaised fully with all contract suppliers including caterers and printers, as well as conference participants such as speakers and brokerage facilitators.

‘Staff at Push4 are all very professional and were able to accommodate any changes effortlessly and to a high standard. They are very personable and I wouldn't hesitate to use them for future events.' Carys Hewitt, Technology & Innovation, Welsh Assembly Government.

Picture Financial Picture Financial
Picture Financial

Picture Financial was a new company set up in 2004, and was formed by an extremely experienced and respected team in the finance and loans industry.  Investors in the City believed enough in the Picture Financial team and business plan for it to be given the largest financial backing package ever.

We were first approached by Picture Financial to co-ordinate their delegate's entertainment for their launch event.  The event which was under ''The Picture Premier'' banner was a huge success.

Since then, Picture Financial have proved themselves, creating a market leading company in their sector and have continued to use us on an ever-increasing basis - from continuing to use us for their delegate entertainment to organising team building days for the 170 staff.

The team building days involves creating a bespoke day that reinforces the company's values culminating in an awards ceremony and dinner with the showing of a video that was shot and edited on that day.

"When organising an event of this size and importance it was great to have the reassurance of such a fantastic team" Caroline Powell, Head of Customer Services, Picture Financial

Welsh Rugby Players Association (WRPA)

Like Push4, The Welsh Rugby Players Association (WRPA) was created in 2002 and since the beginning have been a regular client and whom we now regard as a friend of ours!

The WRPA is an organisation created to look after the welfare of professional rugby players in Wales and every year celebrate the Welsh Rugby achievements by holding an awards ceremony and dinner which has become the social highlight of the rugby calender year! .

From humble beginnings in the first year, the event has grown to become a spectacular event with many international stars on the guest list.  We are involved in all aspects of the event and assume complete control for ensuring the smooth running of the evening.

"Great event as usual, looking forward to next year!"  Richard Harry, CEO Welsh Rugby Players Association.

Corus Corus
Corus

In 2005, after a number of major incidents, Corus had found themselves with major attitude, managerial and operational issues.

We were initially approached in September 2005 to create an event for the entire 5000 staff to start the process of change, but after further discussions it was decided that attitudes needed to be changed from the top down, eventually cascading to all 5000 staff. This was achieved through producing an internal communication event aimed at the senior and middle management. This initial event was so well received that we were contracted to facilitate a further 60 similar events to all staff, sub contractors and trade unions over the next 8 months.

"The Journey", as it was nicknamed is now coming into its third year with us recently (Septmeber 2007) organising a finale event for over 700 staff members to celebrate the point in which Corus had reached - celebrating success!

"I know the amount of planning, logistics and hard work that went in to make everything go seamlessly.... transportation to the branding to the screen show presentations and the auditorium set. It surpassed my expectations. The feedback we've had has been tremendously positive and people feel it was a major boost to our ‘journey' We have succeeded in re-energising people through celebrating success and recognising the challenges ahead... but not without you!" Tim Rutter, Communications Manager, Corus.

Intertissue
Intertissue

With just over 2 week's notice, Push4 were asked by Neath based paper mill Intertissue to assist with their 3 events in celebration of the opening of their new factory.  As well as a gala evening held at the Orangery in Margam Park, a formal ribbon cutting ceremony, senior management presentation and family fun day was held at their 320,000 square meter site on the Briton Ferry Industrial Estate in September.

The factory was opened by the Leader of Neath Port Talbot Council, Derek Vaughan and attended by over 300 invited guests, many of whom had flown in from Italy for the occasion.

The event was a great success with Chris Perry, Commercial Managing Director saying "The team at Push4 have really pulled it out of the hat for Intertissue. 3 Weeks ago the task looked immense but with your help it turned out to be memorable event which left a fantastic impression on all our guests. Thanks for a great event!"

Ethicon Endo Surgery (Johnson & Johnson)

In 2007 Ethicon Endo Surgery asked us to produce an awards ceremony and party in the main foyer of the National Museum of Wales.  The natural elegance and grace of the building mixed with our creative vision made the evening one to remember ...

Following this success, in 2008 Ethicon Endo Surgery approached us again this time to produce a complete week of event for their annual sales conference.  The conference was taking place in Jersey and entailed a week of conferences, seminars, team building events culminating in the awards ceremony.

We pulled together a core team consisting of Production Manager, Support Staff and Camera Crew and after initial meetings with Ethicon Endo Surgery agreed on the brief.

Part of the brief consisted of filming an initial video before the event. Due to the size of Ethicon Endo surgery it was impractical to send the crew around the world instead with a generous amount of ‘blue screen' work the world came to us.

A small team of Push4 travelled to Jersey to manage the week's events and made use of local suppliers where possible to provide the most cost efficient solution for the clients event needs. The local suppliers were constantly supervised by our staff to ensure and maintain the quality of the work.

The finale to the week was accomplished by transforming the great hall into a Grecian haven and the client and guests partied until two in the morning.

We hope to be able to work with Ethicon Endo Surgery again next year and look forward to the new challenges set by them.
