Our sister company P4 Music, Wales’ largest independent music promoter is bringing the hottest talent to Wales this summer, with a galactic line-up of stars that includes Al Green, JLS, Will Young and Diana Vickers.

The big names start at the Cardiff International Arena on June 22 with legendary soul singer Al Green, who has sold more than 20 million records, won 11 Grammies, and features in Rolling Stone 100 Greatest Artists of all Time. Double Brit Award winning chart toppers JLS headline Ponty’s Big Weekend on July 24 in a concert in Ynysangharad Park, Pontypridd that sold out within an hour of going on sale, before fans were given the added bonus with news that supporting the boy band would be X Factor finalist Diana Vickers, who last week went straight to Number 1 with her debut single Once.

August sees an appearance by Will Young, the most successful British male pop star of this millennium.  Will performs in the Pink Pavilion on August 8, the night after the close of the Blaenau Gwent and Heads of the Valleys National Eisteddfod in Ebbw Vale, in a concert described by WAG Minister for Heritage, Alun Ffred Jones as: “an innovation in the events industry in Wales….a perfect example of what can be achieved by working together.”

Push4 Director Pablo Janczur said: “We’ve been working in Wales for some time now, and have built up great relationships with the Welsh Assembly Government and local authorities throughout Wales, and with some of the biggest artists around, who have faith in us to deliver great audiences here. The response for tickets reflects the calibre of the artists we’ve line up for the summer, and we’re really looking forward to it.”
