JLS wow fans at Ponty's Big Weekend!

Ynysangharad Park in Pontypridd was home for thousands of music lovers over the weekend of 24th / 25th July, for the town's 3rd annual festival, Ponty's Big Weekend.

The family musical extravaganza saw chart-topping boy-band JLS headlining Saturday's sell out concert with thousands of fans singing along to their hits One Shot, Beat Again and The Club is Alive.  

Then, on Sunday, the crowd were treated to local talent in the form of V Factor finalists, vocalists Hayley Westenra and Faryl Smith before star of the moment Sophie Evans, runner up of BBC's Over the Rainbow, closed the show.  

The festival just keeps getting bigger and better, year on year, and we're already looking forward to next year's musical feast.  Keep checking here for updates. 

The 2-day festival is an annual event oragnised by Push4 in conjunction with Rhondda Cynon Taff County Council.
